What does it mean? Well, your breath is a stress indicator. The more breaths you take, the more stressed you are. With short, shallow breaths, the heart and body are working hard!
It may seem silly but most people do not know how to breath properly. Getting your breaths down to 7 or 8 breaths a minute stops the brain chatter and helps the body relax. The Conscious Breathing exercise taught in this video helps you to breathe more deeply an fully to effectively achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Do this exercise two or three times a day for up to three minutes.
